Preston Rook
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Preston was raised in Clay Center, graduating from Clay Center Community High School in 1987. Preston earned a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas and earned a degree in mortuary sciences from Kansas City, Kansas Community College. He joined the funeral home staff in December 1995.
Preston Rook
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Preston was raised in Clay Center, graduating from Clay Center Community High School in 1987. Preston earned a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas and earned a degree in mortuary sciences from Kansas City, Kansas Community College. He joined the funeral home staff in December 1995.
David Coffman
Funeral Director/Embalmer
David grew up in Overland Park and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School. He spent seven years in the US Air Force as a medic. David attended KCKCC, where he graduated from the Mortuary Science program. He is married to Darla and they have four children: Cooper, Spencer, Anderson and Miller.

Allen Hamel
Assistant Funeral Director
Allen has lived in Clay Center since 1977 and graduated from Clay Center Community High School in 1984. After attending Emporia State University and Kansas State University, Allen settled back in Clay Center. He has been working here since February 1993. Allen's wife is Julie and they have three children, Jordi and husband Brett Langvardt, Logan and wife Bethany and Konnor and wife Anna. They also have 7 grandkids. Braylee, Brynley, Bayler, Miles, Whitt, Sawyer and Haven.
Allen Hamel

Allen has lived in Clay Center since 1977 and graduated from Clay Center Community High School in 1984. Keysha Chaney
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Keysha grew up in Clifton and graduated from Southern Cloud High School in 2001. She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Mortuary Science from KCKCC in 2014. Keysha is the first female licensed funeral director/embalmer to serve families in Clay County. She now resides outside of Wakefield with her husband Shawn. They have four children Tylor, Jacob, Jaden, and Tanner, as well as four grandchildren, Leena, Eva, Marshall and Alyssa.
